Bradford Supplementary School launches innovative Muslim Community Library this Sunday
Muslim leaders in the heart of inner city Bradford are launching a brand new community Library- open to the whole community – to inspire the love of reading amongst the youth.
The Library contains hundreds of books – both Islamic and non-islamic – for all ages, tastes and attentions including fiction and non-fiction. Many of which are unavailable in mainstream libraries.
There will also be weekly mother and baby storytime sessions for toddlers and pre-schoolers, book clubs, debate clubs, activities and on demand sessions for homeschooling families.
MMTQ Manager, Abdusslam Meer said ‘This unique initiative has been set up to educate and ignite the passion of reading in our young people. It will bring the community together through our storytelling sessions and book clubs’.

The library will launch on Sunday 21st August at 12 noon (till 1500) for women and girls, and 1500 (till 1800) for dads and boys
