While fairy tales and fictions often end “happily ever after,” real life can be far from that once the proverbial honeymoon period is over. Marriage is a lifetime of compromise, understanding, sacrifice and compassion and learning when to give and take these pillars of support is the key to a successful and contended union and an enduring love live.

The mirage of perfect, problem-free, and perpetually smooth happiness in marriage perpetuated by social media and families around us who successfully hide their problems, makes many people question their own relationships. But the knowledge that every relationship faces challenges, conflicts, and ups and downs. By understanding how to navigate these differences and appreciate the qualities in each other with advice and guidance from the Quran and sunnah
